The Workshop Rotation Model is a unique format that is based upon weekly rotations. Each rotation focuses on a specific Bible story and includes four workshops that take fun and different approaches to teaching that Bible story. The children, who are divided into four groups, visit one workshop each week; the next week the groups rotate and the children visit a new workshop. This rotating continues for a period of four weeks so that all children have an opportunity to experience all four workshops. At the end of the four weeks a new Bible story is introduced with four new workshops to support that new story.
Each Sunday all children in grades K-5 meet in the music room to begin the Sunday school hour at 9:30 AM with prayer. After some short announcements the offering is collected and then the children are dismissed group by group to attend their workshop for the week. The children enjoy their workshops until 10:05 AM, which is when they all head back to the music room to close Sunday school with the Lord's Prayer. Sunday school ends at 10:15 AM.
